Design Statement:
This project is a co-ed therapeutic boarding school on 400 acres west of Kalispell, Montana. The facility consists of two dormitories, lodge, administration, school and recreation (gymnasium & indoor pool) buildings.
Construction of the 60,000 square foot facility utilized a fast track approach. The first phase of construction began with the site work, which required new roads and all new infrastructure. The second phase of construction involved the two dormitory buildings. The third phase included the administration and classroom buildings. The lodge facility and recreation complex were completed in the final phase.
The architecture incorporates Montana's ranch styles with the use of heavy timbers, stone, clapboard and board & batten siding.
