Design Statement:
RBA Design was commissioned to design a new two-story 34,000 square foot office building and conference center located on the Skagit River in Mount Vernon, Washington.

RBA Design's services for the project encompassed site feasibility studies and analysis, review with regulatory agencies, programming, design, space planning and interior design and construction documents.

Unique features include three large public meeting/conference rooms fully equipped with the state of the art technology including wireless capabilities. A Teacher Learning Center (computer lab) and an Interactive Video Center for two-way communications and instructions complete the facility. Careful planning allowed the public spaces to be accessible for weekend conferences while providing the needed security for the remaining office and support facilities.
